Stormstripe- a tall, broad-shouldered tom with very dark gray fur, striped with pitch black. His stomach is pure white, and his eyes are dark gold - nearly amber. (Luuvpokemon4) [28]

Thrushflight- a sand-colored tom with mossy green eyes. (Luuvpokemon4) [21]

Pineslash- a brown tabby tom with a cream chest, belly, and tail-tip. His eyes are pale green. (Sheyna) [20]

Burningflame- A red-furred she-cat with stripes going down her back, head, and tail. Rings of red encircle her legs. Her eyes are an icy blue. (Luuvpokemon4) [20]

Out of all the Clans, Fogclan has the most expansive territory. It lies in an area of lower elevation than the others, and as a result, much of the valley's water runs through there. The Clan is just north of a large lake. Due to the plentiful water, many creatures thrive in the lush forests. On the far east side, the border runs right up to the eastern mountains. To the west is a strip of sandy territory won from Lightningclan in the recent war, and this is still occasionally disputed over. They share the northern border with Shiverclan and two-thirds of the western border with Lightningclan; however, there is an unclaimed patch of land between Fogclan's western border and Blizzardclan's southeastern border.
Oftentimes, Fogclan's land is shrouded by thick mists in the mornings and evenings - both of which are cut rather short by the mountains on either side, causing early sunrises and sunsets.

Important areas
~Camp- In the heart of the Clan's territory, the camp is in a wide clearing. It isn't far from one of the main rivers, but on slightly higher ground to reduce the likelihood of flooding. The leader's den is within the roots of one of the large trees around the camp's border. The place for the leader to call meetings, the Twistedroot, is aptly named - a root that twists up (from the tree holding the den) and onto itself, creating a low but noticeable platform. The place where the medicine cats sleep and the herbs are stored is under/within a large rock settled off to one side of the clearing, and an area next to it carefully reinforced to create a dry den for patients. The other dens are scattered around, in tree hollows (in the case of warriors and apprentices) or in reinforced bushes (in the case of elders and the nursery).

~Swimming Pool- Fogclan apprentices are taught very early how to swim, and the swimming pool is an excellent place for this. Located near camp, it's a midsized pond with a small stream draining into it, creating a gentle, manageable current. The pool's bottom has a gentle slope, with no sudden drops to catch an unwary apprentice.

~Training Grounds- A favored area for battle training is a clearing a little ways from camp. It has small logs and stones scattered strategically around, and many of the trees ringing it are easy to climb. The flattened grass often sprouts colorful flowers in newleaf and greenleaf.





~Firestones- A clearing used for Gatherings that was originally part of Lightningclan's territory. Most of the sand was eventually blown or washed away, but one area still has a dusting of it. The rest has that short, coarse grass covering it. The leaders stand on two separate stones, both red as fire, standing closest to Lightningclan's territory. It is large and can hold a very large number of cats. The former Gathering place is an area now split between Shiverclan and Fogclan, useless after a vicious flood swept through.

~Star Falls- located toward the edge of Blizzardclan territory, the gathering place for medicine cats. A small waterfall creates a wide pool that drains into an underground cave. In the moonlight, it looks like the stars are caught in the falling water. It is far for the other three Clans' medicine cats, and as such they must leave far earlier than Blizzardclan's.



The Valley
How Cloudclan came to the valley was quite simple, really. Driven out of their former home, the survivors traveled into the mountains. Weary and half-starved, they were stunned to come across the beautiful valley. Shiverclan was the first to discover the ragged group and, pitying them, gave up a portion of their overlarge territory for Cloudclan to stay and prosper.

Cloudclan's Division
Several generations later, a conflict rose in the otherwise peaceful Clan. The leader at the time, Cougarstar, had begun to fall very ill (not only physically, but mentally). Then the deputy passed, and Cougarstar refused to appoint a new one - not even acknowledging the death of the first. Her Clan became unsure what to do at that point, until eventually deciding that they'd need to pick a deputy themselves. This was the start of the division.
The majority of votes were split between two Clanmates: the bold, powerful Fogstep, and the young, capable Lightningwisp. Arguments broke out and decisions delayed. That is, until Cougarstar finally perished, and Cloudclan remained undecided.
The arguments escalated incredibly quickly. However, the first day of bloodshed, the two chosen reached a decision. "Those who wish for me to lead, follow me. Otherwise, stay with Fogstep," were the words of Lightningwisp. Then the Clan and its territory split in two, never to be rejoined.

War and Alliance
Since the division into two Clans, Lightningclan and Fogclan have always clashed - usually small spats on the border, some slightly more bold moves now and then. However, the tension escalated when Serpentstrike of Fogclan and Hollymask of Lightningclan - two cats with a personal hatred of the other - became leaders of their respective Clans. The conflicts quickly escalated in size until a full-out war was declared. Throughout the war, battles were held for the most part directly along the border. However, the winning move was dealt by Fogclan two moons into the war. Two large patrols got themselves caught in a border skirmish, and slowly began giving ground to the larger Lightningclan patrols. Overeager and sensing a possible win, the Lightningclan cats pursued their opponents... right up until they found themselves at an incredible disadvantage. They were surrounded in unfamiliar, waterlogged, vision-impairing territory by cats far more accustomed to their surroundings. Lightningclan was soundly defeated, and Fogclan was able to secure a large patch of territory lying between the two. Hollystar called the war off shortly after.

Several seasons later, a new leader, Rainstar, came to power in Fogclan. She, being the first kittypet leader in all the Clans, was somewhat distrusted by the others and flat-out ridiculed by Lightningclan. The enemy Clan, still angry over their defeat, sought to use this to their advantage. And they got that advantage as a vicious plague swept through Fogclan, killing several, from young kits to warriors still in their prime - among the casualties, Blackice, their medicine cat, and his apprentice Robinwing. This left the Clan prone to destruction, and they very well may have been destroyed, had Shiverclan not stepped forward to aid the crippled Clan. Lightningclan, daunted at the idea of taking on now two Clans, was forced to retreat. Fogclan's new allies even went so far as to allow their own medicine cat, Sandmoon, to train a Fogclan apprentice to help rebuild the Clan.





~Their main prey includes fish, squirrels, voles, mice, and other forest- or river- dwelling creatures.

~They're bitter enemies with Lightningclan, though the last attack, which ended a short war between the two, was a few generations back. This was also the time when the area of pine forest was taken by Fogclan.

~They carry the distinct, misty scent of their territory, identifying them as Fogclan cats.

Juniperstar- A pale golden tabby she-cat with green eyes. Sister of Falconfire.

Falconfire- A ginger and brown tom with amber eyes. Brother of Juniperstar.

Hiddenlight- A pure white she-cat with dark green eyes.

Serpentstar- A brown tom with silver diamond-like markings along his back, like a snake. His eyes are light brown. Brother of Webpaw.

Webpaw- A light brown tom with silver spots on his sides. There are silver circles around his eyes, which are blue. Brother of Serpentstar.

Rainstar- A sleek silver she-cat with blue-gray eyes. The only kittypet leader in Fogclan's history.

Blackice- A black tom with light gray paws and icy blue eyes. One of the two medicine cats who died during the plague.

Robinwing- A pretty brown she-cat with ginger stripes and amber eyes. One of the two medicine cats who died during the plague.

Shrewleap- A white she-cat with light brown points. Her eyes are light blue. Mother of Fluffykit, Alderkit, and Windkit. Died from the plague.

Fluffykit- A thick-furred white tom with pale blue eyes. Died from the plague.

Alderkit- A pale brown tom with white paws and yellow eyes. Died from the plague.

Windkit- A white she-cat with yellow eyes. Died from the plague.

Ivybloom- A black she-cat with green eyes. Died from the plague.

Honeybreath- A light brown tom with lighter, yellow-tinted points. His eyes are bright honey-gold. Died from the plague.

Goldenlight- An ashy gray tom with yellow eyes. Died from the plague.

Scatteredclouds- A grey-and-white tom with sky blue eyes. Died from the plague.

Squirreltail- A light golden tabby she-cat with a white front. Her eyes are light green. Died from the plague.

Sweetberry- A fluffy gray she-cat with light green eyes. Died from the plague.

Woodpaw- A calico tom with brownish amber eyes. Died from the plague.

Shatterpool- A silver tabby she-cat with green eyes. Sister of Drizzlefur and Coldwind. Died of old age.

Drizzlefur- A sleek silver tom with frosty blue eyes. Brother of Shatterpool and Coldwind. Died of old age.

Coldwind- A silver tom with a black tail-tip and frosty blue eyes. Brother of Shatterpool and Drizzlefur. Struck by a branch and drowned.

Thornstar- A brown tabby tom with eyes the shade of cobalt. Mate to Coppersky and father of Windpaw.

Stripedfur- A gray tabby tom with orange eyes. Caught in a flash flood.

Blueshine- A blue-gray she-cat with bright blue eyes. Caught in a flash flood.

Sharpstone- A gray tom with greyish green eyes. Injured foreleg in a flash flood, died later due to illness.

Coppersky- A pale ginger she-cat with black paws and copper eyes. Mate to Thornstar. Died after having her last litter of illness.

Windpaw- A small gray tom with eyes the colour of cobalt. Son of Coppersky.

Twinscar- A tortoiseshell tom with almost identical scars on either shoulder and yellow eyes.

Tawnypatch- A calico she-cat with primarily yellow-orange patches, the only black being on the tip of her tail. Mother of Goldwing, Graypaw, and Brightkit.

Brightkit- A yellow tom with a white underside and stripe down his nose.
