Whisperclan- Post 1


Luna woke up to another foggy morning. The third day in a row! Now what? It'll rain badgers? She sighed. "Well, here goes a dreary morning." She slowly stretched her legs, and went out to hunt. She coudn't smell well in this weather, but she could see good enough. She caught a sparrow and two mice, when she stumbled across- or over a sleeping tom. She stared wide-eyed, not sure how he'd react, when she realised he was dead. She shuddered, and saw a deep gash mark across his throat- cat marks.

Luna shuddered again, and began digging a deep hole. She consumed a mouse, and finished digging. She slowly laid the handsome tom in, and put the other mouse between his front paws. She covered his body, when she heard a whisper. Well done, Luna. You did the right thing. Now, eat that sparrow, and head in the direction most of its bones lay after you finish eating it. Luna was stunned, but decided to follow the voice's orders anyway. She gulped down the sparrow, and looked down at the bones...

They were all pointing one way. She followed that direction, and came across a shadowy figure...

(Cliff-hanger. :3 I'm bored- I'll probably make the other soon anyway, so whatever. )

"Hello. Who are you?", the figure said. "Last time I checked, I was the only cat who chose to live in this foggy area."

Luna tilted her head. "Foggy area? You mean I could've explored a different way, and found an area that wasn't misty?" The she cat was confused.
"That's about right. By the way, who are you? I'm Whisper. A voice told me to expect a cat. I never expected one so beautiful. Maybe you could keep me company for a while. It's been mighty lonesome, and so pretty a cat deserves more than to wander around on her own. I've even got a nice den, in a nice area, away from but close to the fog. It's alive with a sparkling river, and lots of prey. Of course, it's not as perfect as you. I feel as if I've known you all my life." Luna blushed, certain her fur was turning red. She was at a loss for words. Suddenly she remembered something. "Did you kill that cat back there?"

Whipser had been moving closer, and looked genuinely shocked. "You saw him? No, I didn't kill him, but I killed the cat who did." Luna was shocked. "Who was it?" Whisper sighed. "My brother. His name was... Ocean." Luna winced. The name of the cat who had murdered her parents in cold blood- Ocean. The name she never forgot, the name she loathed...

Luna hissed. "Where is he?"

Whisper sighed. "Right here."
Luna unsheathed her claws. "What do you mean, 'Right here?'" She bared her teeth. Whisper stood there a while. "He lives in me."

Luna tilted her head, wide-eyed. "You're lying. You have to be." Whisper sook his head, and spoke. "No, I'm not. I killed him because of what he did... and now he manages to take over my body every full moon." He looked down, expecting Luna to kill him at any moment. "If you kill him, you kill me. Then he'll take over you, too. His will to do evil is just too strong."

Luna sheathed her claws. Whisper looked up. His eyes spoke for him- he wasn't lying. There was pain. And two growls. Wait, two growls? Suddenly three. Luna looked around, and found the source. Three pairs of hideous evil eyes. She whipped her head back to Whisper.

They both spoke softly- badgers.
